Obituary Condolences

Clifford Courtney Bunds, Jr. Clifford "Bud" Bunds passed away peacefully at his beloved home in Novato surrounded by his loving family on February 15, 2014 at 85 years of age. Born March 18, 1928 in San Jose, CA he was a 4th generation Californian and lifelong Marin County resident. He graduated from San Rafael High School, attended College of Marin, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was a proud Korean War Veteran. He worked for Dumont Corp., Huffacker Engineering and retired from Gordon Manufacturing as vice-president and was a member of the NRA and Historical Train Society. He is survived by his daughters Pamela Harman, Julie Pimentel (Dennis), honorary daughter Donna Fippen (Wayne), grandchildren Bob Harman (Jeri), Tom Harman (Carla), Jason Pimentel (Stephanie), sister Margaret Swift (Edward), and his loving companion of 10 years, Elizabeth Trimble, her children Lynn Schibach (Bruce), Tim Trimble, Gayle Trimble, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Patsy Bunds, son-in-laws Gerald Schaefer and John Harman, sister Betty Lockwood and grandson Wil Harman. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Bud's life on March 15, 2014 at Musico's Restaurant, 1200 Grant Ave., Novato from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral services are private.
