Maude "Peggy" Ita Rolandson Was born June 21, 1921 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and lived an amazingly full 93 years before passing away on July 16, 2014 in Greenbrae, California. Peggy was the loving wife of the late Gordon Rolandson and is survived by her children, Joan Rinaldi (Frank) and Gerald Rolandson (Muriel), her grandchildren Lisa Boland (Mike), Julia Rinaldi, Monica Rinaldi, Regina Rinaldi Valentine (Josh), and Richard Rinaldi (Corina) as well as her great-grandchildren, Sean and Brian Bordley, Maggie and Piper Valentine, and Francesco and Fiona Rinaldi. Peggy is survived by her siblings Bernadette Baraty (Ed, deceased), Patrick Falvey (Sharon), and Maureen Laval (Raymond). Her pre-deceased siblings include Liam Falvey (Florence, deceased) and Mary Falvey. Peggy is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews, Grand-Nieces and Nephews, and Great-Grand-Nieces and Nephews. Peggy was pre-deceased by her parents, William and Martha Falvey (William of Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland and Martha {Richardson} of Leeds, Yorkshire, England). Born in Canada, Peggy immigrated to the U.S. when she was just six weeks old. After graduating from St. Brigid's High School in San Francisco, she met Gordon Rolandson, a strapping lad of Norwegian descent and was married in 1942. Her many achievements include writing a family genealogy book, having a mastery of crocheting, making the best Crazy Cake in the world, and having many friends because of her infectious passion for life and a deep desire to connect with the people around her. Peggy loved people and people loved Peggy. She enjoyed her time living at the Tamalpais and the family would like to thank all the wonderful providers who took care of her during her final days. A Memorial Mass for Peggy was held at St. Sebastian's Church in Greenbrae on Wednesday, July 23rd at 11:00 AM.
