WANDA L. HOLLOWAY

Obituary Condolences

Wanda L. Holloway Wanda Louise Fisher was born January 12, 1930, in Picher, OK, and left this life February 20, 2011. At an early age, her family moved to Joplin, MO, where she attended public schools. Her family later moved to Pittsburg, KS, where she met her soon to be husband, Raymond, (Ray) Holloway. They were married in September, 1955, and after graduating from Kansas State College (Pitt State) moved to Boston, MA, where Ray began a long career with AT&T. His work took them all over the United States, but they finally settled in Novato in 1966. During their travels two sons were born, Donald Ray and Ronald Lee. Wanda was very active in the support groups of the Novato Schools (PTA, Parent Faculty Club, etc) and in the athletic support groups (Little League, Babe Ruth etc). She enjoyed crafts, such as crocheting, needlepoint, knitting, etc, as well as reading and traveling. She was an avid Forty Niner and Giant fan. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband Ray, and her their two sons. At her request, no services were held, but we might have a celebration of her life at a later date.
