Rosemary Quinn Taylor Obituary
Rosemary Quinn Taylor On October 17, 2012, Rosemary Quinn Taylor passed from the loving arms of her children into the arms of the Lord, Jesus Christ. She was born on March 19, 1922 in Detroit to Marion Hurley Quinn and William Francis Quinn. Rosemary graduated Cum Laude from the University of Detroit in June 1942. While attending school there, she met her future husband, David Marr Taylor. They wed on February 15, 1944. After the war, they settled down in Detroit and raised a family of six children. Rosemary divorced Marr in 1972. Rosemary is survived by all six of her children, their spouses and six grandchildren. They are Kathleen, George (Debra), William (Elizabeth), Teresa Paxton (Greg), Joseph (Linda) and Mary Robertson (Les). Her six grandchildren are Katie, Chris, Julia, Amara, Jack and Sam. Rosemary was very outspoken and was never shy about sharing her opinions. She loved to cook, to travel and to give parties. She spent much of her life in the Detroit area and upon retiring, moved to California. Family and friends may join the family as we celebrate Rosemary's life with Mass at 11:00 AM on December 27th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mill Valley.
