I found you too late. May the Lord bless your family and loved ones. May they continue to seek comfort in Him and know in their hearts that there's no need for sorrow, but joy! For he's in paradise with the Lord! God bless you all.

Rubi was one of the finest people I have ever known, and worked with. He also knew how to fish.

Rubiaco and I (Dean Melling) worked together in SF for about 3 years. Not only did we work together but we commuted together. Rubi lived in Novato and I lived in Rohnert Park. During that time we got well acquainted and worked as partners on many assignments. He was a good parole agent and it was a pleasure to work with someone who took his job seriously and was conscientious. I treasure the time we spent together. In that Rubi had been jail liaison, that made it much easier to interact with the SFPD and jail staff and Rubi knew how to get things done in a minimum of time. I want his family to know that he was a good parole agent, a good friend, and a joy to work with. Our family will keep his wife and family in our prayers. Dean Melling, Retired PA2, Sub-Unit Supervisor.
