Marilyn Aline Riddle Age 80, died peacefully at her home in Petaluma CA on February 4, 2013 after a long battle with dementia. Marilyn was born in Chicago, Il on May 12, 1932 to Virginia and Hakon Danielsen. She was raised in Racine WI, and was the oldest of four daughters. In 1957 she moved to Northern California with her husband and two year old son. She settled in San Rafael, CA and was a resident there for more than 40 years. Marilyn was a proud member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). She retired from the phone company in 1990 after 20 years of service. In retirement she loved to spend time with her family, dote on her cats, crochet and shop at Macy's. She entered various crocheted items in the Marin County Fair for years and was awarded many blue ribbons. She is survived by son Craig (Cindy) Riddle, and daughter Aline (Tom) Donohoe and three grandchildren; Briana Donohoe, Kevin Donohoe and Corey Riddle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In death, she will be joining parents Virginia and Hakon Danielsen and sisters Nancy Braun, Jean Seymour and Joan Vick. The family will be holding a private service in the spring.
