David Michael Kyne Obituary
David Michael Kyne June 20, 1963-June 16, 2013 On Father's Day, after attending his youngest daughter's graduation from UC Santa Barbara, Dave unexpectedly passed of sudden cardiac arrest as he was overlooking the ocean near the Devereux Bluffs of Santa Barbara. Dave was the beloved husband of Colleen and the adored and proud father of Kathleen (Katie) and Allison (Allie). His family was his everything, and he was theirs. His devotion and love for them was immeasurable. Along with being a devoted father and husband, he was also dedicated to his work at both Giusto's Vita-Grain and ABC Driving School. Dave's sense of humor is legendary, as was his ability to meet people and make them feel as if he had known them for years. He was a true testament to what it means to be an exceptional and selfless husband and father, and a remarkable human being as well. Dave joins his parents, Charlie and Anna Marie Kyne, in Heaven. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Smith (Paul), brothers Tom and Matt; in-laws: Bill Addy, Patricia Exley-Nyberg (Dean), Michael Addy (Cindy), Erin Albachten (Aaron), Brenna Gubbins (Pete), Josh Poole, Nick Poole (Mel), Matt Poole, Ralph Exley; nieces and nephews: Tom, Ted, Anna Marie, Greg, Theresa, Stephanie, Charlie, Myles, Gracie, Ryder, Maggie, Georgia, Ivan, Fiona, Kathleen, Tony, Vince, and Addison. The recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday June 27th at 7:00 PM at St. Rita's Church in Fairfax. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 28th at 11:00 AM at St. Rita's Church, followed by a reception at Deer Park Villa in Fairfax. Please join us in remembering our beloved Dave Kyne. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Dave Kyne Memorial Fund: 241 Marinda Dr, Fairfax, CA, 94930.
