Robert W. Danielson

1950 - 2017

Robert W Danielson Jr. (Bob) passed away June 14th at the age of 67 of a sudden and rare blood disorder. Born in 1950 on Catalina Island, CA, to Irene and Robert W Danielson Sr, Bob was truly a current day Renaissance Man. After graduating from Los Altos High School, Bob received a degree in Botany from UC Berkeley, graduated from UCSF's School of Pharmacy, obtained a contractor's license and dabbled in Real Estate. He went on to own his own business, Shoreline Stereo, in Mill Valley, Novato, SF and Santa Rosa. Later, he worked for Symantec in Sunnyvale, Lawson-Dyer in Mill Valley and recently retired from Golden Gate Pharmacy in San Rafael. As a computer consultant for companies and individuals, including Ferrari and Maserati of Marin County, Bob was a car, film, photography and music enthusiast, as well as a music producer. As a Beatles expert and vintage guitar collector, his talents had no limits. Bob's been involved in music since high school, when he played in his first band. He enjoyed nothing more than attending concerts and discussing music trends with diverse and loyal friends, of which there are numerous, dating back to early childhood. Bob was a big hearted, generous people-lover, who put his family and friends first, helping and connecting many along the way. Everyone who knew Bob loved him and will miss him deeply. Bob is survived by the love of his life, wife Jacqueline, who he was married to for 19 years. He also leaves a cousin, Roberta Mackey. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, John. Friends are invited to Bob's Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 16th from 11am-2pm at the Marin Art & Garden Center in Ross, CA.
