Richard J. Jakubisin CALEDONIA: Richard J. Jakubisin, age 87, of Caledonia, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Kobacker House in Columbus. Born November 19, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Mary (Vaschak) Jakubisin. Preceding Richard in death are his parents; and wife, Josephine (Sottile) Jakubisin. Richard retired as an electrician with Marion Power Shovel. He is survived by his companion of thirty years, Dixie Graf of Caledonia; one daughter, Karen (Brent) Farrow of Port Charlotte, Florida; three step children, Jinny, Julie, and Debbie; two grandchildren, Adam (Maureen) Farrow, Heather (Michele Sanders) Farrow; and two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Mathew Farrow. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Father Thomas Buffer presiding. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery. Kilchenmann, Howard J. "Howie"  
Howard J. "Howie" Kilchenmann WALDO: Howard J. "Howie" Kilchenmann, age 75, of Waldo, formerly Brewster, died Wednesday morning, December 10, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 13, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to the late Howard E. and Mary (Stotzer) Kilchenmann. He was a 1957 graduate of Brewster High School and a US Navy Veteran. He worked 37 years as a Parts Manager for various auto dealerships and retired December 31, 2004 from Mathews Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep in Marion. A member of the North American Swiss Alliance, United Swiss American, Canton Swiss Men's Society, Disabled American Veterans Delaware Chapter #79, Delaware County Senior Center. Howard in his earlier years enjoyed bowling and woodworking. Howard loved taking vacation with his grandchildren, and the rest of the family, to Disney World. He spent time with his daughters helping them with showing steers at the fair and cooked Sunday morning breakfast for the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Trudi (Bauer) Kilchenmann and they were married June 14, 1974 in Marion; son: John Kilchenmann of Massilon; daughters: Erica (Matt) Burkey of Marengo, Dawn (Dave) Meier of Centerburg; grandchildren: John-Adam, Katlyn, Jacob, Dylan, Dayna; brother: Paul (Margaret) Kilchenmann of Beach City; sisters: Myrna (Butch) Schie of Strasburg, Darlene Kilchenmann of Strasburg. Friends may call Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will follow at 3 p.m. with Shawn Anthony officiating. Lowry, Susan E.  
Susan E. Lowry WORTHINGTON: Susan E. Lowry, 52, of Worthington, passed away December 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 11, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to Richard and Patricia Barklow. Susan worked as a title clerk of Jack Maxton Chevrolet. She was a 1980 graduate of Olentangy High school. Susan enjoyed wine tasting, traveling especially to Mexico and Las Vegas. She enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals and loved her two cats "Lillbit" and "Ittybit". Susan is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Richard Lowry; step-children, Tom (Paula) Lowry and Angie Borland; mother, Patricia Barklow; sisters, Deanna (Chris) Paykoff and Cathy (Kenn) Bowes; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Charles Barklow. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. High Street, Worthington. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Kopp officiating. McBride, Roberta J.  
Roberta J. McBride HARRISONBURG, VA: Roberta J. McBride, age 77, of Harrisonburg, VA, formerly of Cardington, Ohio died Wednesday morning, December 10, 2014 in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on May 2, 1937 in Cardington to the late Walter and Opal (Haycook) Long. Roberta graduated from Cardington-Lincoln High School in the class of 1955. She was a homemaker and attended the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Roberta enjoyed bowling, reading, puzzles, and playing with her beloved dog, Buster. Roberta is survived by her children, Terrence (Mala) McBride of Ashland, Lori (Thomas) Mendez of Harrisonburg, VA; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a sister, Patricia (Guy) Flora of Cardington; and a brother, William Long of Cardington. In addition to her parents Roberta was preceded in death by three of her children, Patrick McBride, Robbie McBride, and Tina McBride; and one brother, Larry Long. Friends may call on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Gompf Funeral Home, 440 Center Street in Cardington. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the funeral home at 10:00 am with Pastor Steven Dennis, officiating. Following the service the burial will take place in the Glendale Cemetery. Miller, Frank Irvin  
Frank Irvin Miller SIDNEY: Frank Irvin Miller, 93, of 3003 W. Cisco Rd, Sidney, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:38 A.M. at Dorothy Love Retirement Community. He was born on January 12, 1921 in La Rue, Ohio, the son of the late Ulys and Clyde (Stauffer) Miller. On October 26, 1941 Frank married Martha L. White who preceded him in death December 8, 2011. He is survived by two daughters, Conelia Dixon of Sidney, and Rhonda (Robert) Anderson of Anna; five grandchildren, Kyle (Robyn) Curtis of Springfield, OH, Jennifer (Daniel) Oliphant of Dover, TN, Gabriel Sauvie of Royal Oak, MI, Daniel Sauvie and Conelia Dixon II both of Sidney; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Rae Freiberger; and two brothers, John Leroy and Warren Denver Miller. Mr. Miller was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and Bronze Star recipient. He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1940's, prior to his service in the military. Mr. Miller retired as Post Master from the Post Office in Ada, Ohio where he was a member of the Ada First United Methodist Church, American Legion, VFW, Lion's Club, and served as a past Boy Scouts scout master. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 1 P.M. at Dorothy Love Amos Chapel, 3003 W. Cisco Rd, Sidney, with Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at 4 P.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ada, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Dorothy Love Amos Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney. Memorials may be made to the Ada VFW in memory of Frank I. Miller. Nagel, Christopher David  
Christopher David Nagel MARION: Christopher David Nagel age 37 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Friday December 12, 2014. He was born August 11, 1977 in Lima, Ohio to David A. and Catherine A. (Pierce) Nagel who survive him. Christopher was employed with Wolfrum Roofing Co. in Delaware, Ohio. Besides his parents, he leaves behind three daughters and two sons, Alexis, Karly, Hailey, Christopher, and Adam Nagel all of Marion, Ohio; also surviving, is a brother, Joshua M. (Suzan Still) Nagel of Marion, Ohio; and his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Pierce of Lima, Ohio; two nephews, Preston and Brayden Nagel survive as well. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday December 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dan Wilch. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Phillips, Marcella "Marcy"  
Marcella "Marcy" Phillips MARION: Marcella "Marcy" Phillips, age 73, of Marion, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at her home. She was born on March 21, 1941 to the late George E. and Christina (Blakeman) Rapp in Waverly, OH. On September 2, 1962, Marcy married Tom Phillips, who survives. For 25 years, she served as an executive secretary at the Ohio State Patrol in Marion and Bucyrus. Marcy was a member of Cornerstone Alliance Church. She was also a member of several quilting groups and, for many years, she volunteered at Hospice. Besides her husband, Tom, Marcy is survived by her son, Michael (Vicki) Phillips of Bucyrus; her daughter, Diana (Bill) Leapley of Blacklick, OH; sister, Opal (Roger) Eades; and two grandchildren, Zacharcy Phillips of Marion, OH, and Elizabeth Leapley of Blacklick, OH. Marcy was preceded in death by three brothers; and five sisters. Services for Marcy will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2014 at 1 PM at Cornerstone Alliance Church with Pastor Tim Miller presiding. Interment will immediately follow at the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12-1 PM prior to the service.
