Edward Louis Eiseman
MARION: Edward Louis Eiseman, age 74, of Marion passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Presidential Center Genesis Health Care.
He was born in Marion, Ohio on January 26, 1939 to the late Frank L. and Edith C. (Messenger) Eiseman. Edward married the former Margaret C. Steele in Marion, Ohio on June 11, 1960 and she survives. He served in the U.S.Army and was a member of the Mt.Vernon Avenue Church of Christ where he served for a number of years as a trustee. One of his favorite pass times was fishing. Ed was employed as a boiler maker for the Erie, Erie-Lackawanna, & Conrail railroads for over 29 years and later retired in 2001 after working 10 years for Goodyear as a certified welder. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather.
Surviving along with his wife are a son, Jeffrey (Summer) Eiseman of Marion; a daughter, Staci (Rodney) Vansky of Marion; seven grandchildren, Codi, Reid, Colton, Kinsey, Kyleigh, Kyndell, and Ryne; three great grandchildren, Kymber, Karlee, and Karson; several nieces and nephews; and his begal dog, Bailey.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank W. Eiseman; and two sisters, Virginia Lister and Ann Larcom.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held on Friday following visitation. Pastor Jeff Bush will officiate.
