MARION: Myrtle D. Fetter, age 86, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, January 29,2013, at 12:10 a.m. in the Kobaker House, Columbus.

She was born on April 13, 1926 in Marion, Ohio to John & Zula (Williams) McCullough. Myrtle was a 1944 graduate of Marion Harding High School. On July 10, 1947 in Marion she married Edwin H. Fetter and after 46 years of marriage, he passed away in Columbus, Oh. on August 20, 1993. Myrtle enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, reading a good book, and swimming in her spare time. She was employed as a secretary with Fairfield Engineering for a short time and also worked along side her aunt & uncle at Fairview Gardens.

Surviving are two daughters, Jill Malone of Columbus, Oh. & Joni Sonnanstine of Marion; three grandchildren, Dr. Thomas (Debbie) Sonnanstine, Megan (Luke) Alexander, & Kat (Nate) Wasson; 11 great grandchildren, Thomas Sonnanstine V, Scott, & Alex Sonnanstine, Cosmo, Shea, Reese, Drew, & Victor Alexander, Nolan, Finnegan, and Brandon Wasson; many nieces & nephews; and a brother-in-law, Everett Sanderson of Marion.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Sanderson and a brother, Jack McCullough.

Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. Pastor Dwight Hord will conduct the funeral service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery.
