Russell B. Trimbur

Fort Wayne, IN: Russell B. Trimbur, 46, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born in Cleveland, OH, he worked as a homemaker. He graduated from Elgin HS and attended Franklin University. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He enjoyed decorating, refurbishing antiques, spending time on vacation at the beach, but his passion in life was being the best Dad and "Mr. Mom" to his girls.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Trimbur of Fort Wayne; daughters, Abby (Josh) Trimbur Haycox, Emily Trimbur, Olivia Trimbur, Alexandria Trimbur, Sophie Trimbur; grandson, Kamden; brothers, Greg Trimbur of PA, Jim Trimbur of Marion, OH, and Bruce Trimbur of Columbus, OH; sisters, Debbie Toombs of Chillocothe, OH, and Diane Moore of Marion, OH.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eloise Trimbur.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road with calling from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Fr. Anthony Steinacker officiating. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Tuition assistance fund at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School or to Bishop Dwenger High School.

How very sad and what a terrible loss to everyone who knew Russ. He was my best friend from kindergarten through our college years. We were inseperable as friends and I have always loved him dearly. My only regret is that the years and miles seperated us and our friendship. May God's blessings and peace be with his friends and family. I'll miss you my friend.

I grew up with Russell in Prospect Ohio we spent alot of time together as friends, I especially like going to his house because of all the animals he had on his farm, and not your run of the mill animals either, all I remember are those peacocks yelling and chasing us thru their pens, Russell was a good friend and I will always remember him, rest in peace my good friend.
