Ann Adams

MARION: Ann Adams age 69 of Marion, Ohio, lost a hard fought battle with Scleroderma and kidney failure at her residence on Thursday August 9, 2012. She was born February 10, 1943 in Marion to the late James F. and Mary L. (Blocksom) Terry. On February 2, 1962 she married Homer ' Gene ' Adams and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2004.

Ann was retired, after many years, from the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, and was also very proud of the work she did out of the Marion office for then Congressman Mike DeWine. Ann was a lifetime member of St. Mary Parish.

She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Always encouraging those around her to do well, to work hard, and to " learn how to play ". She enjoyed family gatherings and outings with friends - especially her annual Florida trip with " The Group ".

Ann is survived by a daughter, and two sons; Tammy Westbrook of Marion, Ohio, Jeff (Donna) Adams of Medina, Ohio, and Tim (Nicole) Adams of Columbus, Ohio; and eight grandchildren, Katie and Laura Westbrook, Anna Marie and Patrick Adams, and Regan Adams, and Jacob, James and Paige Wolfenberger; Also four sisters survive, Marilyn Moll, Rita Burns, Pam (Dick) Williams and Jodi (Marc) Emans.

Besides her husband, and her parents; Ann was preceded in death by three brothers.

No funeral or calling hours will be observed. Burial will be at a later date.

She will be dearly missed. Thank you Mimi - We love you.
