MOUNT BLANCHARD: Dolly M. Brown, of Mount Blanchard, died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Birchaven Village, Findlay, Ohio.
A native of Marion County, she was born on June 11, 1917 to the late Asa M. and Florence V. (Knickel) Loper.
Survivors are her husband, Fred W. Brown; and a step-sister, Betty J. Fetter Wade.
She was a former employee of General Telephone Company of Ohio and the Singer Company.
She was a member of the Independent Telephone Pioneers Assn. And a former member of the Marion Business & Professional Women's Club. Also, she was a member of the Marion Lydia Chapter #83 Order of The Eastern Star and the White Shrine of Jerusalem Shrine #15. She graduated from Marion Harding High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She had been a member of the Marion First United Church of Christ and Calvary United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME, Carey, OH from 5-8 p.m.on Thursday, August 9, 2012. Graveside service will be on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, OH with Pastor William Schultz officiating.
