James S. "Jim" Kyle
RICHWOOD: James S. "Jim" Kyle age 74 of Richwood, died Wednesday morning June 27, 2012 at Heartland of Marion. He was born September 11, 1937 in Delaware to the late Kenneth D. and Freda M. (Russell) Kyle. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dan Kyle.
On June 1, 1970 he married the former Jean Thomas Harrah and she survives in Richwood.
He was a member of the Richwood First UM Church, was retired as a lineman/electrician working for Ohio Edison for over 30 yrs, he belonged to the Ohio Edison Men's Club, the Richwood Gun & Game Club and the former Richwood Lions Club. He was a life-long fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns, he also enjoyed hunting.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Kim (Tracy) Kyle, Cumming, Georgia, and their daughters, Sophie and Kenedee; a daughter, Sherie (Guy) Lagendyk, Powell and their children, Nikki, Kyle and Elliot; a sister, Nancy (Rick) Hoffman, Richwood; and a sister-in-law, Pat Kyle-Beatley, Indian Lake.
Family would like to express thanks for the blessings and prayers for Jim during his nearly one year long recovery from an auto accident.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 2, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call Sunday from 2-5 pm, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate.
