KENTON: A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday July 2, 2012 at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton for Justin R. Flowers. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Pastor Riley Powell will officiate the service.
He passed away Tuesday June 26, 2012 at his home in Kenton. Justin was born June 29, 1930 in Wyandot County, the son of Lotus and Ethel (Parsell) Flowers. He married Mary Joan Converse and they divorced.
Surviving are a daughter, Pamela (David) Pinney of Prospect, OH; sons, Stan Flowers of Phoenix, AZ and Steve Flowers of Marion, OH; Grandchildren, Erica (Nate) Whitt, Wes Pinney, Kelsey Pinney, Lauren Flowers, Logan Flowers, Langley Flowers, Lane Flowers; Great Grandchild, Colton Whitt.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannett Flowers.
Justin was retired from Farming. He graduated from Marseilles High School in 1948.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran; a member of the Kenton Elks 157, Eagles 2163, and Moose Family Center 428. He was active in Beef and Hereford Assoc.
