Mary E. Haughn Wynn Guthoff Sparks

MARION: Mary E. Haughn Wynn Guthoff Sparks, age 92, of Marion went to be with her Lord & Savyor on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at 10:50 p.m. from Marion Pointe. She was born to Harley and Myrta (Fish) Haughn on January 9, 1920 in Richwood, Ohio. Mary's three husbands, Gerald Wynn, John Guthoff, and Walter Sparks, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Ft. Myers, Florida where she taught Sunday School and played the organ. Mary was employed in the offices of the Marion Power Shovel Co., NaChurs Plant Food, and Pollack Steel Co. while living in Marion. She went on to work for the Dept. of Human Resources in Ft. Myers, Fl. where she was honored in 1978 as Business Woman of the Year.

Mary is survived by a son, Gary (Judy) Wynn of Westland, Michigan; a daughter, Mary Lou (Rex) Wynn-Henry of Waldo, Oh.; ten grandchildren, Scott (Theresa) Wynn, Leanne Campbell, Terrell Wynn, Alec Wynn, Jasmine Wynn, Keila Wynn, Doug Wolfe, Whitney (Brad) Ebersole, Tom (Vera) Wolfe, & Kurt (Syd) Wolfe; two step grandchildren, Randy Henry & Tami Clark; 11 great grandchildren;three step great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call on Monday, August 6, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Nick Worden will conduct the service on Monday in the church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Coral Ridge Gardens, Ft. Myers, Fl. at a later date.

Contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice or to the Grace Baptist Church in honor of Mary.
