Joyce P. Pfleider

MARION: Joyce P. Pfleider age 73 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Thursday October 20, 2011 at her residence. She was born June 18, 1938 in Marion, Ohio to the late Charlie Gleason and Martha (Weaver) Thompson.

Joyce was retired as a Home Health Aide working in Private Home Care. She also was an avid bingo and card player.

Joyce is survived by three daughters and two sons, Ruth Bisel, K. Balis, Mary Mitchell, all of Marion, Kenneth Pfleider of MaChesney, IL, and John Weaver of Marion. Twenty-one grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren survive, as well as one sister and one brother, Ann Abshire of Paintsville, KY and Earl MeWhorter of Lexington, KY. Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a brother.

There will be a Graveside Service and burial for Joyce on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at the Byhalia Cemetery. Officiating the service will be a nephew, Jimmy Dean Cole. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday one hour prior from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Condolences can be expressed at www.boydbornfuneralhome.com.

Kay and Ruth, and also my sister Joycylin and brother Jeremy,I am so sad to hear of Joyce's passing, she and I shared many evenings together with Mr. Campbell. God bless you all in this time of grief.
