MARION: A hard fought battle was lost when Ricky McDuffie was called home on August 19, 2012. Mr. Ricky Edward McDuffie was born to the late Homer McDuffie, Sr. and Mary Emma (Upton) McDuffie on February 12, 1960 in Marion, Ohio. He was the eighth of thirteen children.

Rick was a member of the Harding High School class of 1978 where he participated in football. He also attended Bluffton College. Rick was an avid fan of the world champion New York Giants led by his boy Eli Manning. He was consistently on top of the current events and could converse on topics ranging sports to politics. Ricky took pride in caring for the lawns of his community members and his faithful clients will surely miss his architectural skills. Not only did he enjoy watching sports on television but he was also entertained by the judge shows. Anyone who knew Rick has probably heard him often say, "I love my church and I love my pastor!" But most important Rick's badge of honor was his victory over some huge obstacles encountered in his life and his commitment to his Lord and savior Jesus Christ! He was also known to frequent many churches on Sunday mornings on his bicycle but ultimately became a faithful member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized on July 3, 2011………..
Crazy for you! (Rick's Signature)
