MARION: Mary M. Fausnaugh, age 91, of Marion, formerly of Richwood, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She was born September 3, 1921 in Summersville, Ohio to the late Edward Erwin and Edna May Patrick Erwin. On March 19, 1938, Mary married Pete Fausnaugh who preceded her in death on October 31, 1998. She retired after 26 years with the Quaker Oats Company. Mary was a member of the former Central Methodist Church in Richwood where she was secretary-treasurer of the Plus Ultra Class. Mary loved to travel, but her real love in life was her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Longstreth, Kay Carver, & Betty Vance all of Marion, Oh.; four grandchildren, Vince (Kim) Vance of Prospect, David (Patty) Carver of Germantown, Md., Steven (Angie) Carver of Lima, and Christine Carver of Marion; five great grandchildren, Lexi Dingledine, Tyler Vance, Adam Carver, Joey Carver, & Colleen Carver; and one great great grandson, Jace Dingledine; along with many nieces & nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Richwood Emergency Assistance Program (REAP), 235 Grove St., Richwood, Oh. 43344.
