William D. "Will" Hook

COLUMBUS: William D. "Will" Hook, 26, of Columbus, died Friday morning, May 10, 2013, at his residence.

He was born March 2, 1987, in Lima, OH, the son of Gregory & Cynthia (Boleyn) Hook. His parents survive in Junction City, KS. On December 18, 2007, he married Patricia E. Long, and she survives; other survivors include, a step-son, James Munk, Columbus; a brother, Matthew Hook, Junction City, KS; a sister, Krystal Hook, San Antonio, TX; paternal grandmother, Debra Hook, Wapakoneta; paternal great grandmother, Marjorie Hook, Wapakoneta.

Will was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. A specialist with the Army, he was a satellite operation communication technician. He enjoyed playing soccer, video games, fishing, wrestling, and detailing his cars.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, Pastor John Rumple officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post #8445, at the funeral home following the funeral service. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Thursday, and 1 hr. prior to the service, Friday at the funeral home.
