      <title>Iams,  Harold E.</title>
      <description> Harold E. Iams  BIG ISLAND: Harold E. Iams of Big Island, Ohio passed away on June 15, 2013 at the Genesis Healthcare Presidential Center after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer.  He was born on September 22, 1929 in Marion, Ohio, the youngest child of Lester C. and Ruby Fern (Miller) Iams. On August 4, 2000 he married the love of his life, Ruby Wolf. She remains to cherish the wonderful memories they created together.  Harold was a 1947 graduate of Marion Harding High School. He began his career with Commercial Motor Freight in Marion, and later worked for the McMillen Feed Company (later Central Soya) for fifteen years. He then joined United Facilities Inc., retiring after twenty-five years of service. Following retirement, Harold thoroughly enjoyed working part-time in sales and customer relations for Earl Estep and Estep Express.  Harold clearly had a passion for life. He was outgoing, friendly, and never knew a stranger. He always had a story to tell or a memory to share. He loved golf, traveling, and dining out as often as possible. Family gatherings were very special to him. He was truly loved and admired by both family and friends.  In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by four step-children, Susan Pertuset of Prospect, David Wolf of Marion, and Donald (Terri) Wolf and Dennis (Jean) Wolf of LaRue; also surviving is his sister-in-law, Jane Iams, nephew, Gary (Denise) Iams, and niece, Carolyn (Mark) Green and her children, Emily and Jonathan Green, all of Marion. Harold is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren and 24 step-great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Freshour, and brother, Charlie Iams.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger &amp; Snyder Funeral Home at 360 East Center Street, Marion, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home by Pastor Josh Freshour on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., with the family receiving friends one hour before the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Marion General Hospital Hospice, 278 Barks Rd. W., Marion, OH 43302.       <description> Gloria E. Krider  HAMILTON: Gloria E. Krider, age 88, formerly of Marion, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Woodlands of Hamilton, in Hamilton, Ohio.  Born on July 12, 1924 to the late Frank and Bernice (Hartman) O'Hara in Nelsonville, Ohio, Gloria was a 1942 graduate of Marion Harding High School. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Leroy D. Krider, of 61 years, on January 17, 2007. She retired after more than 30 years of service with the Marion Police Department as a Record's Clerk and was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years.   Gloria is survived by children, Jack (Bonnie) Krider, of Dublin, OH., Pam Thorpe, of Cincinnati, OH., and Lisa (Laurin) Sprague, of Hamilton, OH.; brother-in-laws, Karl Krider, of Marion, and Earl Krider, of Naples, Fl.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at First Church Of The Nazarene where services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Riley Powell officiating.  Memorial donations may be made in Gloria's honor to The First Church of the Nazarene, 233 West Church St., Marion, OH., or Vitas Hospice, 11500 Northlake Drive, Suite 400, Cincinnati, OH., 45249.
