LINDEN — Malvin Hall, 79, of Linden, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at his home. He was born July 4, 1933, in Linden, to Lee and Hazel Surratt Hall. Mr. Hall was retired from Lone Star Steel Co. after 39 years of service and was an U.S. Army
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mozelle of Linden; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Kent and Debi Hall of Linden, Greg and Susie Hall of White Oak, Chris Hall of Jefferson and Russ and Pam Hall of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, Lisa Long and husband, Steve, Jennifer Webb and husband, Aaron, Blake Hall and wife, Haley, Ashley Hall and fiancé, Corey Motley, Will Hall, Austin Hall, Christon Hall and Ian Ansley; great-grandchildren, James Michael Long, Ashlyn Webb, Andrew Webb and Daniel Webb; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Gail Hall and Wallace and Pepper Hall; one sister and brother-in-law, Relda and Wayne McMillon; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Clara Faye and Paul Sangalli; several nieces, nephews and stepgrandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today, May 7, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Linden, with the Rev. Bryan Baggett officiating. Interment will be in Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at the funeral home.
