Wingert, Beverly M.
Beverly M. Wingert, 82 of Marshfield passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Golden Living Center Three Oaks in Marshfield with her family at her side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Spencer with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.
Visitations will be from 9:30am Tuesday at the church until time of services.
Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Bev was born in Marshfield to William and Florence (Bores) Weis and was fondly known as "Toots". She graduated from Marshfield High School. She was united in marriage to Fabian J. "John" Wingert at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Los Angeles, CA and celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary in 2002. John sadly passed away on January 30, 2010.
Bev and John lived in Los Angeles then moved to San Diego where Bev was an insurance underwriter. In 1981, they moved to Queen City, TX where they owned and operated a motor home & RV park. In 1999, they retired and moved to Spencer, WI to be near family.
Bev was a member of the Lady Knights of Columbus and previously members of the Good Sam's Campers Club. Bev's artistic passions lead her to painting and making ceramics. She loved football, especially th e Green Bay Packers and Cowboys.
Bev is survived by her siblings, James Weis of Stratford, Jerome (Nancy) Weis of Stratford, Mary (Karl) Wingert of Granbury, TX, Ruth (Jim) Odau of Green Bay, Betty (Bill) Severt of Hewitt, Helen (Bob) Johnson of Stratford, Tim "Mike" (Judy) Weis of Spencer, Dennis (Yonnie) Weis of Webster City, IA, Ted (Kathy) Weis of Dows, IA and Rosie (Bob) Carlson of Arpin; two sisters-in-law Carol Ann Weis of Stratford, Kathleen Weis of Marshfield and a brother-in-law Verlyn Herman of Mosinee. She is further survived by her uncle Alfie Bores of Marshfield and a very special friend Marcella Greenwood of Marshfield.
Also survived by Fabian's family, Paul (Barb) Wingert of San Diego, Dennis (Pat) Wingert of Torrence, CA, Karl (Mary) Wingert of Granbury, TX, Glenn Wingert of San Diego, Laurence (Sharon) Wingert of Willard, OH, Margaret S hirey of Willard OH, and Anita Schiferl of Marshfield.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Carol Jean "Barney", "CJ" Weis, two brothers Robert Weis and Ervin Weis brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Conrad "Mike" Wingert and Joanne Wingert Rifleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
