Williams, Clara M.
Clara M. Williams, age 88, of Marshfield entered eternal life on Friday January 4, 2013 at the Marshfield Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Joel Deaner-Rogers will officiate. Burial will be held in the Hillside Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
Clara was born April 25, 1924 in Marshfield, the daughter of Clarence and Petra (Swenson) Harris. On February 27, 1958 in Iowa, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Williams. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2010.
Clara worked at Admiral TV and owned Williams Bar with Kenneth which they operated for 10 years. She also enjoyed her many years volunteering at St. Joseph's Hospital in the surgical waiting room. Clara was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Marshfield.
Clara is lovingly survived by, a daughter, Lynette Hartle, Marshfield and a son, Rick (Mary) Griffin, LaCrosse, WI; she is further survived by six grandchildren: Nathaniel (Michelle), Clinton (Nicole), Kristin, Kenneth (Sherry), Curtis and Joe (Bonnie) and eight great grandchildren: Melissa, Tyler, Noah, Hayden, Sawyer, Colin, Hannah and Ashlyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth; her daughter, Debra; her son-in-law, Raymond and three siblings: Hazel, Howard and John.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requests memorials to the Marshfield Care Center Activity Department.
