Geldernick, Robert A. Robert A. Geldernick, 83, Marshfield, died on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9529 State Highway 80 S., Marshfield, with Rev. John Guenther officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am on Tuesday until service time at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Robert was born on May 21, 1932 at home in Chili, Wisconsin, the son of James and Gertrude (Croell) Geldernick. Bob loved to dance to old time music and fell in love with Sharon K. Anderson. They were married on October 30, 1965 and were happily married for over 50 years. Bob was a licensed cheese maker for 24 years at Chili Milk Pool, 1 year at Knowlton Cheese Factory and worked part time for Chili Implement. Bob and Sharon bought Shorty's Supper Club and renamed it Yellow River Inn and operated it from 1976 until 1980. He then worked for Breheim Construction and Marshfield Clinic until he retired. Bob was always available to help anyone, mentor new hires, coach 4-H softball and was a volunteer fireman for the Chili Fire Department. He was an avid bowler, ball player and loved tending his rose bushes and flowers. He danced many miles at polka fests with Sharon. He enjoyed woodworking of any kind, built 2 houses for himself and many wood crafts. He built shelving and cabinets at Trinity and helped with the addition between Trinity Church and school as well as doing work at the parsonage. Bob was a wonderful father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Sharon, and their children, Ron (Janet) Geldernick, Dale (Kerri) Geldernick, Sheila Weber, all of Marshfield, and Mark (Denise) Geldernick of Cottage Grove, MN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren who will serve as honorary pallbearers, Melissa, David, Taylor, Nathan, Zachary, and Aaron Geldernick, Cody, Brad, Laura, and Eric Weber, and Thomas and Matthew Geldernick. Bob also has a son Lee (Terri) Geldernick of Cumberland, WI and a daughter, Merri Weber of Rice Lake, WI and a sister, Pauline Weber of Downers Grove, IL and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Special thanks to Atrium Post Acute Care for their warm and tender care and to Pastor Guenther for his many visits and prayers. Heisler, Lyle A. Lyle A. Heisler, 52, Marshfield, died peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home in the Town of Spencer after a long courageous fight. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Daryn Bahn officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Rembs Funeral Home and from 9:00 am on Tuesday until service time at Christ Lutheran Church. Lyle was born on January 26, 1964 in Marshfield, to Eugene and Clara (Johnson) Heisler, Sr. and was a 1983 graduate of Spencer High School. After his education he began employment at Beatrice Cheese and remained working in the same building where he retired from Sensory Effects in April 2014 due to ill health. Lyle was united in marriage to Ann Buelt on May 6, 1989 at Christ Lutheran Church. His greatest hobby was raising cattle on his beef farm. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his hunting buddies. He also loved playing cards and "hanging out" with the family. He was a hardworking family man who will be deeply missed. Lyle is survived by his wife, Ann, and their children, Cody Heisler (Megan Christiansen) and Jessica Heisler, all of Marshfield. He is also survived by his parents, Eugene and Clara Heisler, Sr. of Marshfield, and his sisters, Janet Aschebrook (Jay Zellner), JoAnn (Mike) Berdan, all of Stratford, and his brother, Eugene (Kathy) Heisler, Jr. of Eau Claire. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Katherine Buelt of Pittsville, and in-laws, Ken Buelt (Amy Callahan) of Madison, Doris (Jerry) Lesmeister of Arpin, Randy Buelt of Pittsville, Joe (Mary) Buelt of Kansas City, MO, and Don Buelt of Pittsville, many nieces and nephews and his lifelong best friend, Jon (Linda) Vayda. Leick , Richard A. Richard A. Leick, 88, Stratford, loving husband and father, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Stoney River Assisted Living, Marshfield. The visitation will be held from 2:00 - 6:00 pm on Sunday at Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford and from 9:30 am until service time on Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford. A parish rosary service will be held on Sunday at 5:30 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, May 2, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Rev. Sengole Vethamanickam officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County. Richard was born on November 30, 1927 to Archie and Jenny (Knops) Leick and was a graduate of Stratford High School. He graduated from the Farm Short Course at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He was united in marriage to Margaret A. Sazama on October 17, 1953 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. A third generation farmer, Richard and his family developed a successful farming operation and in 1974, hosted Farm Progress Days with his brother, Kenneth. Richard was a skilled wood craftsman who enjoyed creating many intricate novelties which gave his children numerous hours of enjoyment. The inlaid card tables he crafted were used when hosting card club parties, which he and Margaret participated in for over 60 years. Richard also played the accordion and had a deep appreciation of polka music. He was an avid fisherman and for many years owned a cottage on the Eau Pleine Flowage. Later in life, Richard spent much of his time making rosaries and sent thousands of them to missions around the world. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Parish and a member of Catholic Financial Life where he served as an officer. He is survived by his wife, Margaret and their children, Susan (Stan) Baker of Dedham, MA, Gerald (Michele) Leick of Oostburg, Peter (Ellen) Leick of Stratford, Donald (Terri) Leick of Brooklyn Park, MN, William (Marti) Leick of Chandler, AZ, Brian (Darla) Leick of Stratford, James (Kay) Leick of Stratford, Donna Leick and husband Laurent of Madrid, Spain and Patrick (Dani) Leick of Cottage Grove, MN. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters and brothers, Dorothy (Louie) Kraus of Wausau, Lucille Leick of Marshfield, Mary Ann Schreiner of Wausau, Kenneth (Mary) Leick of Stratford and Orville (Rosanne) Leick of Wausau. He was predeceased by his parents and a great grandchild. Richard's family would like to thank the staff at Stoney River Assisted Living for the care and concern that they provided. Lillge, Lorraine R.  
Lillge, Lorraine R. Lorraine R. Lillge, age 90 years and 1 day, of Marshfield and formerly of Stratford, died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Marshfield. Lorraine Rose was born April 21, 1926 to Margaret (Kramp) and Conrad Boehm. She and her six siblings were raised on the family farm outside of Marshfield and attended Cameron school. In her younger years, Lorraine worked at Roddis & JC Penney. On April 21, 1947, her 21st birthday, she was joined in marriage to Leslie F. Lillge. Together they owned and operated an A &W in Minneapolis before building their family home in Stratford. When her children were young, Lorraine started selling Stanley Home Products and continued in this business for over 50 years. She was also a charter member of the Stratford VFW Auxiliary Post 6352 and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. Lorraine is survived by her children, Lowell (Sue) Lillge of Nekoosa and Lynne (Rob) Frenchick of Hayward; three grandchildren Kristen (Sam) Bertsch, Nathan (Jenny) Lillge and Sadie (Jason) Remington; six great-grandchildren, Lucy, Ryan, Ben, Maggie, Mariska, and Jackson; sister-in-law Stella Boehm and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Les in 2005; brothers, Oscar, George, and Edward (Bud) Boehm; sisters Agnes Krause, Verna Cournoyer, and Margie Cramer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stratford with Fr. Sengole Vethamanickam officiating. St. Joseph's Resurrection Choir will provide the music. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in the town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County. A time of visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford is assisting the family with arrangements.
