Helen Scott Wolfe, 98 of Arpin died peacefully on Thursday morning, February 7, 2013 at the Bethel Center with her daughter at her side.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshfield.

Helen was born on June 29, 1914 in Marion, KY to Marvin and Grace (Custar) Scott. She graduated from Greeley, CO High School in 1932 and attended college for a year.

She was united in marriage to LeRoy Wolfe on January 20, 1935 in Greeley, CO. He died on August 17, 1987.

She played piano and loved to sing in various choirs including the Palm Sunday Chorus in Marshfield. A lifelong Presbyterian, Sunday School teacher in Greeley and a deacon and elder in LaSalle, CO, Clovis, NM and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Arpin. While living in Greeley, she participated in numerous civic organizations. In 1991, she moved from Clovis, NM to Arpin to be near her daughter, Rev. Janet Wolfe.

Besides her daughter Rev. Janet Wolfe of Marshfield, she is survived by a son Charles M. (Jane Mumbua-Malobi) Wolfe of Lewisville, TX and her daughter-in-law Joanne Wolfe of Flower Mound, TX; two granddaughters, Cheryl Hedges (fiancee Jason Tally) Lewisville, TX and Karen Bishop of Flower Mound, TX. She is further survived by four great grandchildren, Zane Hedges, Javin Tally, Ben and Chloe Bishop.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband LeRoy an infant son, Robert Scott, and two sisters, Rebecca Madison and Janet Bass.

Family would like to thank the Bethel staff for their ten years of care.
