McDonald, Linden Lee "Pops'

Linden Lee McDonald, 70, Milwaukee, WI, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his home.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 5, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 400 W. Upham St., Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Linden (Pops) was born March 10, 1943, in Nashua, N.H., the son of Early Clauzell McDonald and Bernice J. (Summerville) McDonald-Lane. He was married to Patricia A. (Patefield) McDonald on April 11, 1977, in Milwaukee, and they were later divorced.

Linden worked as a postal employee at UW-Milwaukee and as a CNA at the Marshfield Care Center LLC. He enjoyed playing cards, working on puzzles, shooting pool and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Antjuan Haynes, Green Bay, WI; Laura (Phillip) Laxton, Franksville, WI; Michelle McDonald (Karen Olson), Milwaukee, WI; and Jonathon (Kimberly) Patefield, Marshfield; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Andrea L. McDonald-Sutton, Metropolis, IL; five brothers, Michael E. (Sheila) McDonald, Metropolis, IL; Malcolm R. McDonald, Colorado Springs, CO; M. Dennis McDonald, Denver, CO; Neal B. McDonald, Colleen, TX; and Bruce K. (Edith) McDonald, Oakland, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Mark and Laura Summerville, and two brothers, Douglas C. McDonald and M. Gregory McDonald.

Everyone is welcome. Our father touched the lives of many people and we are sure he would be extremely grateful, and so would our family, if you came out to say goodbye to Pops one last time.
