Madeline R. Bloczynski, 87 of Marshfield died on Tuesday morning, October 15, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Monday, October 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield . Fr. Salvi will be officiating with grandsons as pallbearers. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
Visitations will be from 4-7:00pm Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home and again on Monday at the church from 10am until service time. There will be a Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary service at 4pm Sunday at Rembs Funeral Home
Madeline was born on July 18, 1926 in Juneau, WI to Edward Noll and Anna Aigner. She was the youngest of 4 children. Upon graduation from Juneau High School in 1944 she attended the School of Nursing for 3 years until she married and began raising her family.
She was united in marriage to LaVerne A. Bloczynski on June 7, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Marshfield. He passed away on May 9, 1977.
Madeline later attended Mid-State Technical Institute and graduated in 1980 with a diploma in Medical Transcription. She was employed as a medical Transcriptionist at the Marshfield Clinic for several years.
Madeline enjoyed a busy life, along with raising her family and working along with her husband, LaVerne in their family owned business, Hub City Lanes, she was also active in her church and community. Madeline was a member of the Christian Mother's Society at her church. She also received awards and recognition for her volunteer services as a member of the VFW
Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. Madeline was a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and as a very social person she loved spending time with her family and friends. Her wit and humor will long be remembered by those who knew her.
Madeline's hobbies included bowling, bingo, reading, playing cards, shaking dice and of course, cheering on the Packers.
Madeline is survived by her children, Don (Karen) Bloczynski of Marshfield, Paul (Sue) Bloczynski of Arvada, CO, Jerry (Kathy) Bloczynski of Marshfield, Tim Bloczynski of Accokeek, MD, Diane (Wayne) Sutton of Marshfield, Suzann (Mitch) Miller of Milladore, Rick (Kathy) Bloczynski of Marshfield, Nancy (Dennis) Schulz of Cornell, Lori Boyer of Marshfield, Allan (Sue) Bloczynski of Sun Prairie, and Ed (Linda) Bloczynski of Marshfield; 25 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. She is further survived by four sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Gordon) Moore of Richland Center, Joan Knauf of Eau Claire, Clara Bloczynski of Marshfield, and Pat (Glen) Boson of Marshfield.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 grandson, her brothers, Edward and Arthur Noll and her sister Ruth Schuster.
