Bowdion, Bertha
Bertha Pauline Bowdion, 75, Wisconsin Rapids, died January 30, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Reverend Dan Bohn will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home on Friday.
Bertha was born in Greenwood, WI on January 10, 1938 to Gerhardt and Ella (Tischer) Lichte. She served three years in the US Army with the WACS program. Bertha worked as a general laborer throughout her life all over.
Bertha was a strong willed, stubborn and hard working woman. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, going to car shows, all kinds of flowers and collecting Troll dolls.
Bertha is survived by her sons, Arthur, Donald "Bones" and Glen (Andrea) Bowdion; grandsons, Gerhardt and Raymond Bowdion; brother, Allen (Catherine) Lichte; sister, Margaret Hillert and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerhardt and Ella Lichte; brother, Edward.
