Darlene Pavloski, 74, former Laurium resident & current resident of Hancock, passed away on Monday November 12, 2012 at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.

She was born on June 5, 1938, in Marshfield, WI, a daughter of William & Elsie (Johnson) Robus. She attended the local schools and graduated from Marshfield High School with the Class of 1956.

Darlene married Michael Pavloski on February 11, 1961, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He passed away on March 3, 1995.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Robin Pavloski, and a brother-in-law Don Pavloski.

Darlene lived in Hancock for the past 7 years and previous to that she resided on Seneca Street Laurium. She worked for Parkway Chevrolet in Calumet, The Houghton County Public Transit, and at the Calumet Air Force Station.

Darlene was a proud Air Force wife and traveled the world with her husband for 26 years. As a military wife, she and her three children moved frequently throughout the United States, and overseas including England and Germany, finally settling in Laurium. She also enjoyed working with her husband with the Boy Scouts.

Her hobbies included sewing, ceramics, and canning. She was a volunteer for Little Brothers and an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Surviving are: 2 sons, Michael (Cheryl) Pavloski of Calumet; Daniel (Kathy Weijola) Pavloski of CA; 1 daughter, Cindy (Larry) Asiala of Houghton; 6 grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Brooke, Brandon, Chadd and Easton; 2 brothers, James (Rachel Robus of WI; Dennis (Evana) Robus of WI; 1 sister, Beverly (Gary) Fecker of WI; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Janice (Chuck) Hepp of WI; Peter (Barb) Pavloski of WI; Tom (Rita) Pavloski of WI; MaryAnn (Mitch) Anderson of MN; and Marilyn Pavloski of Marquette.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday November 16, 2012, at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home in Calumet with the Deacon Art Stancher officiating.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon on Friday.
