Hardinger, Eugene J.

Eugene J. Hardinger, 79 of Marshfield died on Friday evening, November 9, 2012 at the Marshfield Care Center.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30am Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Dorothy Gehrke along with St. John's Funeral Choir will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with family members as pallbearers.

Visitations will be from 9:30am until time of services at St. John's Catholic Church in Tuesday, November 13th.

Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Eugene was born in Marshfield on March 28, 1933 to Edward and Caroline (Felton) Hardinger.

He served in the United State Army from October 16, 1957 until his honorable discharge on October 7, 1959. He then began employment with Briggs and Stratton Company in Milwaukee as a foreman until he retired. He moved to Eagle River for a few years before returning to Marshfield in 2002.

He is survived by a sister-in-law Margaret "Peg" Hardinger of Holcombe and a brother-in-law Hubert Hamus of Waukesha and nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gerry Hardinger and a sister Elizabeth Hamus.
