Judy Ann Krohn of Marshfield, WI died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on January 11, 2013. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 16 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Community Church, 1417 W. McMillan St, Marshfield. All are invited to stay, visit and share personal remembrances at a lunch to follow the service.
Judy frequently watched Sound Of Music and if she could sing for us now, her song of "Favorite Things" might be something like this:
"Snowmen all winter and camping in summer. Baking chocolate chips cookies and warm rice pudding. Kids playing baseball and laughing and singing. These are a few of my favorite things….
Yellow and green for my Green Bay Packers. Psalms 139, prayer and my Bible. Nieces and nephews bringing me smiles and kisses. Friends from Wisconsin, Iowa , Chicago and Chippewa. My siblings and church family that helped me so often. Reading and reading and reading some more…. These are a few of my favorite things….
When the breathing is hard, when the legs are weak, when I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don't feel so sad."
Judy was anxious for Heaven where she would greet her Heavenly Father, her parents, and her brothers Scott & Llyle. Now she looks from Heaven waiting for the day she will again greet her other 9 siblings, their spouses and her beloved 17 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews.
