Shotwell, Richard G.

Richard G. "Dick" Shotwell, age 71, of Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at home in his wife's arms. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. and meal at 6 p.m. at the Richfield Municipal Building, 8478 Richfield Dr, Marshfield. Pastor David Scofield will officiate.

Dick was born on November 3, 1941, to Irving and Audrey (Feind) Shotwell in Whitewater, WI.

He was a 1959 graduate of Marshfield High School. He married Donna Gauger on October 14, 1961, in Marshfield, WI. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1964. He worked most of his years as an agri-sales rep until retiring in 2011.

He was active in his church, loved traveling and spending time with his family. He could fix anything and loved tinkering. He will be sorely missed by his family, many friends and associates.

Dick is survived by his wife, Donna, of 51 years; his children, Wendy Shotwell and her daughter, Jackie; Clint (Kristi) Shotwell and their children, Lindsey, Emma, Shelby and Spencer; Brett (Waunita) Shotwell and their children, Richie, Reba, Ta'ny and Demi; Tacey (Brad) Doine and their children, Austin and Ryan; Jody (Michael) Villwock and their children, Elijah and Noah; also brother in-law, Robert (Suzie) Gauger and their children, Bobbi (Dan) Zenner and their daughter, Nancy and expecting baby and Kelli (Will) Sellers. He is further survived by a sister, Patricia Paisley and two brothers, Daniel (Sharon) Bubolz and David (Kathy) Bubolz; and many nieces and nephews.

His family offers a special thank you to Dave Eisberner and the home hospice staff for the wonderful care in his last days with us.
