Stacey L. Goodwin, age 43, of Marshfield, was born into eternal life Thursday, May 2, 2013 while in Kauai, Hawaii with his family, near the white sand beaches he loved, following a courageous battle with Leukemia. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Faith Fellowship Church in Marshfield. Pastor Larry Sheahan will officiate. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Serving as pallbearers will be: Jeff Mason, Dan Varga, Donnie McMullen, Dean Barrington, Steve Goodwin, Adam Feddick, Eden Feddick and Jeremy Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Goodwin, Tammie Krutza and Parker Goodwin. A time of visitation will be held from 4-8:00PM Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield and also one hour prior to service time at the church on Saturday.
Stacey was born September 4, 1969 in Sheboygan, the son of Leon and Dawn (Burris) Goodwin. He attended Sheboygan South High School and graduated from Tri-County High School in Plainfield, Wisconsin.
On February 4, 2007 in Kauai, Hawaii he was united in marriage to Alanna J. Feddick.
Stacey worked in the music arena, building stages, and setting lights and sound for concerts all over Wisconsin.
Stacey was a proud father and loving husband. He cherished the time he could spend with his son Parker. Stacey loved helping people out and volunteering with the disabled. He was known to always root for the underdog. Stacey enjoyed the beach and traveling but music was his passion.
The thrill of rollercoasters, the rush of the waterpark and the speed of roller-skating were experiences he loved.
He valued the love and support of his many close friends who became his family. He loved playing trivia in Stevens Point with the "Hold Still I'm Trying To Be Friendly" Team.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Alanna Feddick-Goodwin, Marshfield, his son, Parker, at home, Parents, Leon Goodwin and Dawn Goodwin, both of Hancock, WI, brothers, Jerry (Georgia) Goodwin, Hancock, WI; and Steve Goodwin, Sheboygan, WI, as well as a stepsister, Judy (Mike) Nigbor, Wautoma, WI.
A memorial will be established in Stacey's name for an educational fund to benefit his son Parker.
