Thomas B. Brogan, age 57 of Arpin, died unexpectedly, Monday April 30, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Interment of Ashes will be in the Arpin Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00PM Thursday and one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Friday.

Tom was born May 19, 1954 in Marshfield, the son of Arthur and Caroline (Rider) Brogan. He attended Auburndale Elementary and High School and graduated from Marshfield Senior High in the class of 1972. During high school and following graduation, Tom continued to work on the family tree nursery, Evergreen Acres located in Vesper.
He was married to Sindy Baumbach and they later divorced.
On March 5, 1995, at a ceremony held in Arpin, Thomas was united in marriage to Dorothea R. Higgins.
Mr. Brogan began his career with the railroad at the age of 19 and worked his way up to Conductor. During his 38 years of service, three companies owned the rails, Soo-line, Wisconsin Central and now the Canadian National Railroad.
His passion was fishing, Bass and Musky. He was a former tournament fisherman. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, fox, and small game. He played softball in his younger years. Tom was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed shooting pool and yard work.
Tom is lovingly survived by his wife, Dorothea Brogan, Arpin, children, Tabitha (Joe) Trierweiler, Marshfield, Kelly (Stacy) Brogan, Marshfield, Amanda (Nick Franke) Wuensch, Bangor, WI and Samantha (Chris Meyer) Seidl, Marshfield. Grandchildren, Andrew, Shylah & Dylann Brogan, A.J. & Ali Trierweiler, Mason Seidl and Lexi Franke. Brothers, Patrick (Cheryl) Brogan, Ft Meyers, FL, Timothy Brogan, Arpin, Laura Brogan, Coral Springs, FL and Sheila Brogan, Milladore. Tom is further survived by nieces & nephews as well as countless friends and co-workers.
His mother, Caroline and father, Arthur Brogan, preceded him in death.
