Sprangers, Agnes A.

Agnes A. Sprangers 94, Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at PineRidge Assisted Living. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St. Philips Catholic Church, Rudolph, Wisconsin with Father Rolando Onden officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Higgins Funeral Home and on Tuesday 10:00 am until time of service. A rosary service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 6:30 pm.

Agnes was born on April 13, 1919 in Milladore, to Chris and Anna Fait Lang. She married Donald J. Sprangers on May 16, 1942. He died on September 30, 1995. Agnes worked for the Milwaukee Falk Corporation and lived in Theinsville for four years before moving to the Town of Carson in 1946 where she and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm and Sprangers Garage. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and bowler. She and her husband Don enjoyed our trips and seeing relatives and friends throughout the United States.

Agnes is survived by three daughters; Judy (Jim) Krommenakker and Rosemary Sprangers of Wisconsin Rapids and Eileen (Hal) Richardson of Milladore. She is also survived by Five Grandsons; Jim Jr. and John (Dawn) Krommenakker of Wisconsin Rapids, and Jeff (Michele) Krommenakker of Rudolph, Kelly ( Lucky) Richardson of Lodi and Brent (Candy Yost finance) Richardson of Marshfield. She is further survived by Nine great-grandchildren Ashley, Daniel, Makenzi, Shelby and Allen Krommenakker all of Wisconsin Rapids and Caleb, Nathan, Jared Krommenakker of Rudolph, and Rory Richardson of Marshfield. She is also survived by one sister, Anna (Tony) Linzmeier of Wisconsin Rapids and sister-in-all, Ruth Lang of Portland Oregon along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband one daughter Sandra, parents, one sister Loretta (Leonard) Vakoc and two brothers, Clarence Lang and Isadore Lang. Agnes's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Strawberry Lane and PineRidge Assisted Living along with Ministry Hospice Care.
