Kremsreiter, Sandy J.

Sandra "Sandy" J. Kremsreiter, age 47, of Athens, passed away Thursday , June 12, 2014 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, with her family and friends by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Abbotsford on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. Father Dan Hackel and Father Charles Heibl will officiate. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford with a prayer service at 5:00 pm and again on Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church. A meal will follow the service and burial will follow in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Wuertzburg. Pallbearers will be: Seth Bolz, John Smola, Cody Kremsreiter, Max Henrickson, Michelle Born and Lucas Fuchs

Sandy was born on August 17, 1966 to George and Joyce (Cherney) Nelson in Medford, Wisconsin. She attended Medford Public Schools and was a graduate of Medford High School and attended NTC. She received her Certified Nursing Assistant license and worked at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, Clark County Health Care Center in Owen and Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. At Saint Joseph's in Marshfield, her dream of working in pediatrics came true.

She is survived by her husband; Randy Kremsreiter, son; Seth Bolz of Warrensburg, MO, daughters; Randee and Sunnee Kremsreiter of Athens, step-son; Cody Kremsreiter of Medford and two grandchildren who are "the cutest babies in the world", brothers; Guy Nelson of Medford and Jay Nelson of Estero, FL, aunts; Janet Doriot of Medford and Judy Luebeck of New London.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Mark.

Sandy's final gift to the world was being an organ donor and enriching the lives of people as far away as Ohio, Texas and California. Hopefully they all see the light and become die hard Packer fans.

She will be greatly missed by many!
