James "Jim" D. Robus, 77, Marshfield, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2014.

Jim was born on November 1, 1936 to Wilhelm "Bill" and Elsie (Johnson) Robus. He attended Dairy Belt Grade School and Marshfield High School. He served in the U.S. Army prior to returning home to run the family farm in the Town of Richfield where he continued farming until his retirement in October of 2000. Jim was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and Gideons International.

Jim married Rachel Gray on December 3, 1960 at the "Little Brown Church in the Vale" in Nashua, Iowa. Together they raised their five children: Timothy (Michelle) Robus of Marshfield, Terri (Ron) Snyder of Rhinelander, Thomas (Lisa) Robus of Marshfield, Trudi (Rob) Bakken of Arpin, Troy (Kelly) Robus of Arpin, and an honorary son, Ross (Leslie) Skorzewski of Green Bay. Jim has ten grandchildren: Joshua and Jessie Robus, Lindsey and Mickenzie Robus, Ashley and Cole Robus, Mindy and Reese Bakken, and Dallas and Dillon Oates.

Jim is further survived by his brother, Dennis (Evanna) Robus of Watertown, his sister, Beverly (Gary) Fecker of Colby, his step-sister, Gayl (Bill) Brost, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two step-fathers: Henry Uttermark and John Bull; and sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Mike Pavloski.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Zion Methodist Church (2106 N. Peach Ave, Marshfield, WI). Rev. Mike Carlson will officiate. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield and again at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
