Beatrice T. "Bea" Adler, 90, Marshfield, died on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Bethel Center, Arpin.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Savarimuthu Selvaraj officiating. Family members will provide the music. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time.
Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Bea was born on July 28, 1924 in the Town of Flambeau, Rusk County to Mat and Theresa (Benish) Haasl. She was united in marriage to Harold G. "Ham" Adler on June 25, 1947 in Ladysmith, WI. Ham died on March 27, 1998 after 51 years of marriage.
Bea graduated from Ladysmith High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1946. She then began her employment as a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, retiring after more than 40 years of service.
She enjoyed visiting with family, especially the grandchildren's events, travel and the YMCA, seniors on the move exercise classes.
Bea is survived by her children, Jeffery S. (Cheryl Aumann) Adler of Marshfield, Dr. Gerard G. (Carol) Adler of Oconomowoc and a daughter, Lori A. Quint of Eau Claire. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren Alexander, Audrey and Genevieve Adler and Samar, Emmet and Ezra Quint.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's or Arthritic Foundations in memory of Bea.
