1968 - 2012 Obituary Condolences
Raymond Michael Miesbauer, 43, of Charlotte died peacefully while surrounded by his family at his home on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012.

Raymond loved music and was an accomplished guitarist. Over the years, he was a member of various bands which include Magic, Freespirit, Cherry Bomb Band, Dallas Reece, Houserockers, Fat Satchel and his most recent personal effort, RaY'coustic. He enjoyed hiking, camping, collecting old glass bottles as well as writing and composing .

He is survived by his sons, Julian Miesbauer and Harrison Miesbauer, both of Charlotte, N.C.; mother, Angela Fisher Price and step-father, Hal, of Largo, Fla.; father, James Miesbauer of Spencer, Wis.; step-sister, Juanita (Tim) Farrar of Concord, N.C.; step-brother, Jeff (Leslie) Price of Monroe, N.C.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in North Carolina, Virginia, California and Florida.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Yarneau.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Ray's life was held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Forest Lawn West Chapel in Charlotte with Mr. James Huffman and Mr. David Nixon officiating.

A special thanks to the Dr. Amin and Hospice for their care and concern during Raymond's illness.

A benefit for Ray's sons, Julian and Harrison, will be sponsored by the Independent Benefit Run to be held on April 29, 2012. Inquiries can be directed to Hollywood's Cycles at 704-827-9991.
