Darlene M. "Docky" Anderson, age 72, of Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Miller Alternative Care in Marshfield, with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (at our new location, 1010 E. Veterans Pkwy) in Marshfield and again from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Darlene was born on November 1, 1939, the daughter of Henry Sr. and Viola (Hamus) Ress. She attended Marshfield High School. Darlene was united in marriage to Ronald Anderson on September 24, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield, WI. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and homemaker, who worked at Figis for over 40 years.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield. She cherished time spent with family, friends and especially her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed time spent in the outdoors tending to her flowers. Those that knew her best will miss her warm spirit and caring personality.
Darlene is lovingly survived by her children, Ricky Anderson of Arpin, Vicky (Randy) Schnabel of Unity; and grandchildren, Nicholas Schnabel, Mitchell Schnabel, Aaron Anderson, and Shannon Anderson. She is further survived by siblings, Lloyd (Ruthy) Ress of Marshfield, Floyd (Debbie) Ress of Marshfield, Henry Jr. (Lori) Ress of Marshfield, Charlene Zychowicz of Poniatowski, WI, Betty Ress of Spencer, and Viola (Jim) Bauman of Mosinee; brother-in-law, Harold Hansen Sr. of Spencer; as well as, many nieces, nephews, and other family. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; parents, Henry Sr. and Viola; as well as, a sister Mona Hansen; and brother-in-laws, William Ress and Tony Zychowicz.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Ministry Home Hospice and Miller Alternative Care for the great care given to their Mother, Darlene.
