Blanche L. Schultz, age 88, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Marshfield Care Center, with her family at her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 18, 2012 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Marshfield. Father Samuel Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, with Blanches' grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00AM Friday at church. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Blanche was born September 19, 1923 in Marshfield, the daughter of Frank and Anna (O'Brien) Schrader. She was a graduate of Marshfield's, McKinley High School.

On August 20, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the former Blanche Schrader was united in Holy marriage to Herbert A. Schultz. He preceded Blanche in death in December of 1981.

For 25 years, Mrs. Schultz was employed as a Medical Transcriptionist at St Joseph's Hospital.

Blanche cherished the time she could spend with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She traveled extensively with a dear friend Fr. Norb Dahl. Blanche collected dolls and was an avid reader. She was a volunteer at Ministry St Joseph's Hospital in the Pastoral Care Department for many years.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Margaret (Randy) Weigel, Marshfield, Dick (Ann) Schultz, Dousman, WI, Joanne Schultz, Chicago, IL, Bob (Kathleen) Schultz, Wisconsin Rapids and Don (Annette) Schultz, Marshfield. Grandchildren, Kim (Travis) O'Kelly, Ryan (Angie) Weigel, Orion (Betsy) Schultz, Collin, Courtney, Jacob, Dan and Jenny Schultz and great grandchildren, Paige, Caiden, Connor, Avery, Gage and Bennet.

Beside her husband, Herbert, brothers, Frank and Donald Schrader and sisters, Ruth Kortkamp and Marge Krasin preceded Blanche in death.

A memorial will be established in Blanches' memory at a later date.
