He was united in marriage to Delores Mielke on September 4, 1972. He was currently a self employed contract hauler owning Telschow Trucking. He was a member of many organizations including the Central Wisconsin Cheese Makers and Butter Makers Association of which he was past president. His most recent passion was the North Central Wisconsin Antique Steam and Gas Engine Club.
Dennis was diagnosed with cancer 22 years ago and had his leg amputated. He was grateful for the Lord's blessings and the wonderful care of Drs. Gregory Lin and Thomas Schueppert. Dennis built a very successful business with the help and encouragement of his wife and the Lord holding his hand. He surrounded himself with successful people and attributed his accomplishments to the Lord's guidance and his faithful employees. He was successful because of the respect he had for others and the respect that others gave him.
