She loved bird watching and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always busy on the farm, Lucille and Harvey eventually took their first trip to Las Vegas in the early 70's after which an annual trip of some sort became a priority for them.
Even after Harvey's passing, Lucille continued to enjoy traveling with her sister Mary Ann to Europe and at her young age of 85, Lucille attended a grandson's wedding in Jamaica and a granddaughter's wedding in Alaska.
When most her age were planning their retirement, Lucille started up and operated an Adult Family Home in Marshfield for more than 20 years. She provided exceptional and loving care to women in their senior years.
