Barbara Ann LeMahieu of Marshfield passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A prayer service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield. Father Venni will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home on Friday.
Barbara was born August 16, 1933 to Theodore and Leone (Hoffman) Bauman in Marshfield. She was a graduate of Marshfield High School. Barbara attended college briefly in Milwaukee. She then married Robert Wang. After living in various states they divorced and she returned to Marshfield. After returning she married Gary LeMahieu in 1967.
Barbara enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, tending to her flowers, crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Barbara is survived by her Husband, Gary LeMahieu, her children: Michael (Annette) Wang of Overland Park, KS, Jacqueline Hedges of Onalaska, Catherine (James) Mercier of Chippewa Falls, and Julie LeMahieu of Marshfield; her grandchildren: Brady, Caroline, Aaron, Jordan, Todd, Jeff, and Lisa; her four great grandchildren, and her sister and brothers: Beth Weinfurtner of Marshfield, Tom Bauman of Park Falls, and James (Donna) Bauman of Lac du Flambeau.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Steven Wang, and her brother, Paul Bauman.
