Virginia J. Hollar 82 of Milladore died peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home with her family at her side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Friday, August 23, 2013 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore with Fr. John Ofori-Domah officiating. Music will be be provided by Catherine Warneke as organist along with St. Wenceslaus Senior Choir. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitations will be from 4-8pm Thursday at the Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City and again on Friday at the church from 10am until service time.
Virginia was born on May 15, 1931 to John and Regina (Katzmarek) Weyer in the town of Carson, Portage County.
She was married to Joseph C. "Sandy" Gebert on August 26, 1954 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church until the time of his death on March 8, 1968.
She then was united in marriage to Donald B. Hollar on February 7, 1970 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore. He sadly passed away on October 7, 2011.
Virginia worked at Preway, Leszewski Potatoes, Figi's and Ore Ida Foods before spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her and Donald enjoyed their travels worldwide, especially the winters in New Mexico.
Virginia is survived by her children James (Phyllis) Gebert of Rudolph, Lynn (Phillip) Linzmeier of Milladore, William (Deb) Gebert of Arpin, Michael (Mary) Gebert of Mosinee, Robert (Sheri Vanish) Gebert of Fifield, Raymond (Georgia) Gebert of Blenker, Ronald Gebert of Medford and Daniel Hollar of Milladore; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister Elsie Schnowske of Wausau.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands Joseph and Donald and two brothers-on-law Marvin and Roman.
