Kraft, Scott F.

Scott F. Kraft, 52 of Marshfield died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, September 30, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.

Visitations will be from 5-7:30pm Sunday at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield and again on Monday at the church from 9:30am until service time. There will be a 6:30pm Knights of Columbus and Parish rosary service on Sunday at the church.

Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Scott was born on October 21, 1960 in Wausau to Roger and Sally (Egner) Kraft. He was a 1979 graduate of Wausau East High School.

He was united in marriage to Linda L. Wilhelm in October 2009 in Marshfield.

After his education, he followed his passion; food service and restaurant operations. He managed various Pizza Hut locations around Wisconsin which culminated at the Marshfield restaurant. He fulfilled his dream of owning his own restaurant, Kraft's Restaurant & Lounge located in Marshfield from 1991-2002. Most recently, he was manager of the Knights of Columbus Hall in Marshfield until his death. He was very artistic and enjoyed using his talents to improve the surroundings for everyone to enjoy.

Scott is survived by his wife Linda, children Stacy (Chris Sandilands) Kraft of Chicago, Robert (Amber Wigent) Kraft of Wausau, Jonathon (Nicole Roth) Kraft of Wausau, stepchildren, Stacy (Tony) Jackson of Spencer and Aaron Rasmussen of Marshfield; two step grandchildren Alina and Carson. He is further survived by two brothers Patrick Kraft of Wausau and Keith (Cheryl) Kraft of Colgate.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
