Frankwick, Oscar

Oscar F. Frankwick, age 90, of Marshfield, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at the home of is daughter in Green Bay. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. Pastor Dean Pingel will officiate. A visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home and again on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow the services at Brooklawn Memorial Garden, Marshfield.

Oscar was born December 18, 1923 to Steve and Nellie (Andersen) Frankwick in Marshfield. Oscar and Dorothy Morrison were joined in marriage on August 23, 1943 in Marshfield. He served with US Army for three years in the 26th Artillery Division in European Theater of operations in WWII. Oscar worked as a mechanic or wood crafter for most of his life working for Roddis Lumber, Rollohome Corporation and Modern Sleep Corporation. He also worked for Marshfield Radiator and owned a Standard Oil Station completing his career as a mechanic and manager for Edwin Memorial Lanes in Rozellville.

Oscar is survived by his daughter, Donna (Mark) Malinowski of Excelsior, MN and their children: Jim (Deb) Miller, Scott (Tammy) Miller, and Penny Lekie; his son, Ron Frankwick of Brighton, MI and his children: Alea Frankwick and Kim Frankwick; his daughter, Candy Johnson of Eau Claire, and her children: Brian Kohl, Amy Johnson, and David Johnson; his daughter, Dianne (Duke) Gordee of Marshfield and her daughter, Ashley (Adam) Heiman; his son, Dr. Gary Frankwick of El Paso, TX, his daughter, Cheri (Keith) Cauwenbergh of Green Bay, and their children: Darin Spindler, Nate (Gwen) Spindler, Katie (Tom) Reuchel, and Dionne (Sterling) McKay, and his daughter, Janine Pauda of Hoffman Estates, IL, and her children: Ryan Baer, Pattie Baer, and Jason Pauda.

Oscar is further survived by his great grandchildren: Jordon and Justin Miller, Jenny Schueller, Jamie Knuth, Bryanna Hoeper, Jacob and Faith Miller, Shandi and Gage Lekie, Grant Frankwick, Allison and Abby Heiman, Presley, Grace, and Jordan Spindler, Kaitlyn and Logan Baer, and Angelos Pauda; his great great grandchildren: Kyden Scheuller and Kaesyn Schuller; and his brother: Steve Frankwick of Oconomowoc, WI, Bert Frankwick of Las Vegas, NV; and his sisters: Martha Veriden and Marie Tyson of Madison.

Oscar is preceded in death by is wife, Dorothy, his son-in-law, Robert Gordee, his brothers: Clarence Frankwick and Elroy Frankwick; his sister, Bertha Chevrie, his in-laws Anna and Robert Morrison, Pete (Irene) Morrison, Thyra (Tootsie) Cox, Wally (Irene) Morrison, Martha Fischer, and Margaret Hansen.
