Dale A. Seefeld, age 86, of Riplinger, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home in Spencer.
Dale Seefeld was born May 5, 1927 to Louis and Winniford (Pickett) Seefeld. He served in the Army during World War II. Dale and Jo Conraad were joined in marriage on September 11, 1948 in Kimberly, WI. He worked at the foundry and eventually worked for Colby Packaging for a number of years. Dale went on to work for Bruesewitz Builders for many years building barns. He then began his own company, Seefeld Builders, until retirement. Dale had a hobby farm and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed animals, art, building things, circle words books, scratch off tickets, the Packers, and his Dog, Trixie. He loved his wife of 63 years and family more than anything. Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. He will be missed by many. He is the Last "True" Cowboy.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jo, his three sons: Jeff, Bruce, and Barry;
his sisters: Donna, Verla, and Marion; and his brother, Dean.
Dale is survived by his children: Doug (Barb) of Spencer, Barb (Darrell) Elpert of Unity, Debra (Mike) Coverston of Spencer, Ken, Brad, and Rhonda Seefeld of Unity; 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one brother, Wayne Seefeld of Riplinger.
